I'm surprised it didn't occur to anybody what could potentially happy to Drew and Matt if only one Author was allowed out of the comic if it were destroyed. But yeah, now you know.

Also, for those concerned about Spectre being left behind, what you have to understand is that he doesn't belong in the real world. Leaving Spectre behind is the same as, in many ways, leaving Negative Author behind. The only difference is that we like Spectre. In that scenario, Author would just get back to the real world ASAP and remake the comic. So Spectre wouldn't die. Though neither would Negative Author.

Basically, in the long run, the comic being destroyed wouldn't cause any permanent damage. The comic being destroyed is basically like your computer freezing in the middle of working on something that you haven't saved; you can redo it, but if you don't it's gone forever. The only permanent damage that might come about would be if Negative Author decided to kill Spectre while the comic was destroyed (or vice versa, though I don't think Spectre could kill Negative Author lol)

Basically what I'm trying to say is that if this situation actually happened there'd be a lot more to it than what I'm outlining here or in the comic. It's complicated, and a lot of stuff would have to happen very quickly for everything to go smoothly.

I didn't forget about them, but it never occured to me that Author would have to get them out. I thought they could get themselves out if need be, but I guess not.

They can leave the comic voluntarily if it's intact. But when the comic is destroyed, all exits are automatically shut off. And the comic only takes the one Author out.

If they can, I vote for Mav. He's the most normal of them. And I'd never want my ears to suffer through Zoru...

That's not the way it works. If the comic were destroyed, the guys wouldn't survive.

Though a storyline with the guys in the real world WOULD be interesting... Kinda hard to do considering I'd have to like, have me, Matt, and Drew dress up like Zoru, Dante, and Mav, and I'd have to play the role of Author too... And then take pictures of the whole thing... But still, interesting. lol
