I know some of you were asking about this.. Well, there's your answer. And for the record, assuming there weren't any barriers to teleportation, they could teleport back to the castle, because they would recognize its energy signature, and they could still sense it (it's not so far away that they wouldn't be able to sense it, even if they don't know its actual location relative to where they are.)
